2. Interior Decoratoris one who works on the finishing touch for your home interior by creating home ambience and adding some decorative elements like wall arts, murals, mirrors, etc.

1. Lifestyle and Functionality One of the important home interior fundamentals is often overlooked considering your lifestyle. An expert Interior designer identifies this aspect during an interaction and exchange of client’s expectation; and the designer should be able to implement the designs without compromising on functionality. Interior decorator is continuously scouting for unique home decorating accessories among a huge list of items to choose the apt fitting.
2. Decide on a Primary Interior Style
Start with defining the primary style or use multiple styles; however, there must be a Primary style as a base which may be blended with other styles.
3.Color Scheme
After deciding on a Primary Style the next step shall be easier as certain styles will have characterizing colors. While choosing the colors for different element, the designer should suggest the color by considering intensity of natural light.
Everybody has different preferences in colors, however it is easy to ruin the style if fundamentals of colors are not followed.
4.Lighting
There are two types of lighting – Natural and Artificial. Natural light is considered during the initial stages of design and architecture for a better ambience. Artificial light is used to enhance the house during the absence of natural light. The 3 types of artificial lighting used in interior decoration are General, Accent and Task lighting.
5.Accessories
Home décor accessories involves cushions, vases, trays, candles & candle stands, artworks, mirrors, rugs, curtains & table settings, picture frames, lanterns, clocks, plants and the list is endless.
